Great spot for a group dinner. We shared the Half Peking duck, which was delicious. I wish it came with the a few more buns as 4 of us were sharing but we just got 2 orders of the buns. The actual duck was juicy and crispy! The soup dumplings and fried rice were good, though nothing super special. The drinks were reasonably priced! Interesting ordering concept where you click a button on the table to let the waiter know you need something. Overall great food, low frills kind of spot.

Great spot for a variety of dishes. Quick service and lots of seating, and prices good as well. Right on the corner. Menu has lots of options, with specialty on duck dishes. Their chow fun is a great portion and flavorful. Lots of seating and they have a separate dining area. Will stop in again to try more. Thanks

Solid but not the best I've had. The duck was on the dryer side and quite bland, needing hoisin sauce for flavor. While the skin was crispy, they should balance the crispness without overcooking the meat. The service was nice and friendly. The pancake was standard. I tried some pieces immediately after picking it up to taste it at its peak, but finished the rest later. There are better spots I've been to for about the same price.

Beef chow fun and their wonton noodle soup never disappoints! The broth is light yet flavorful. Noodles and wontons are bouncy. Love the duck wraps as well- perfect amount of scallions and hoisin sauce.

I stayed in Philly for a long weekend trip and had this as a must-try location as I've heard great things about Sang Kee. I stopped by at 4pm and were seated right away, although the restaurant was essentially full with other parties. We decided to try a quarter order of Peking duck with buns. This was a good amount for two diners as we felt satisfied but not overpowered by the richness of the dish. The duck was delicious and exactly what I hoped for - crunchy, crispy skin with perfectly cooked and seasoned duck meat. The baos with the meat, sauce, and scallions were absolutely delicious and felt well-balanced. In addition to the duck, I ordered the shrimp dumpling and wonton noodle soup. The broth had a great flavor and complimented the dumplings and wontons well. The shrimp dumplings were tasty but I must say that the star of the dish was definitely the regular wontons, which had a nice bite and contained shiitake mushrooms in addition to the shrimp and pork. Service was prompt and the staff was very helpful in describing and suggesting dishes. The restaurant also felt very clean. If I'm ever back in Philly, I will be sure to come back for another order of duck and wontons!

Located in the heart of Chinatown. Parking is a bit difficult. Would probably recommend taking a rideshare. Pros: -good Chinese food for the money -family style -we got eggplant, duck, wonton soup, flat noodle beef stir fry - all of which came out pretty quick and nice and hot -the duck is especially delicious, probably on the best in the area Cons: -kind of a small restaurant but understandable for being in Chinatown. What this means is that if you come at a busy time, you may need to wait a while -wonton soup was light on flavor -food can be a little oily but on par with Chinese food of this type -place was had strong AC that blew directly on one of our tables but they did turn it off when we asked them Conclusions - great choice if you are in the mood for some good Chinese duck
